This T-Shirt comes in a variety of colors. It has a Morpho Butterfly on the front with this quote: "So it's true, when all is said and done, grief is the price we pay for love.” The back contains a "Cliff's Notes" version of "Grief," the Phases, Types, What to Say / Not to Say, etc. It's a gentle, unique way to educate one other person...to hopefully bring the subject of Grief into the world in order to ease the suffering.
We are all grieving something—a loved one, a pet, a lifestyle, a dream, a loss that has meaning—the list goes on. Sadly, most of us don't know how to comfort someone who is grieving. What do we do? What do we say? How can we show we care?
From Patti DiMiceli, the designer: "After 40+ years working with those who are living (Life Coach), dying (End-of-Life Doula), and grieving (Certified Grief Educator & Coach), I realized that it is my responsibility to teach what I've learned. As a bereaved mother and a graphic designer, I have the life experience, skills and tools to create products to do this in an easy-to-see and understand way."
Our T-shirts, hoodies, mugs, puzzles, notebooks, and tote bags bring more than knowledge to the world and those in it who are grieving. They also bring comfort, caring, and connection.
